• Family Medicine Physicians as Catalysts for Community Change

    Topic Overview

What is the impact of primary care on communities? Growing research has shown the importance of providing “whole-person care” to not just patients, but to entire communities. The COVID-19 pandemic especially highlighted the need for population health care. The field of family medicine has had a long-vested interest in preserving and building the agency of communities. Understanding how family physicians and primary care as a whole help preserve and build the agency of communities will allow for more replications of these relationships in other communities.

Join us for a primary care forum as we discuss the role family physicians play and their relationships with communities. RSVP and note your attendance preference -- virtual or in-person. Breakfast will be provided.
